Westpac have announced their plans to simplify and align the pay and conditions of Wealth employees. This announcement will impact over 1000 BT and ASGARD employees.
FSU has for some time been advocating and campaigning for all Westpac Group employees to be covered by a common set of employment conditions, that leaves no-one disadvantaged. This latest decision is a win for FSU members and recognition of those efforts.
The proposal is for BT and Asgard employees to be covered by Westpac pay and conditions as outlined in section 2 of the Westpac Group Enterprise Agreement 2019. Westpac will be providing impacted staff with details including new letters of employment outlining new terms and conditions and to transfer your employment to Westpac.
This is a significant change for FSU members employed by BT and ASGARD and each of you will have questions you want answered. What will the change mean for your pay, hours of work and long service leave?
FSU will be holding a zoom meeting where you can hear the latest information, ask questions and discuss what this change means for you.
The meeting will be held: Tuesday 19 October at 7pm AEDT and you can register here
If you know someone working in BT or ASGARD please bring this update to their attention. Importantly, if you’re not already an FSU member now is the time to join.
In the meantime, if you or your colleagues have questions or concerns or wish to provide feedback, contact the FSU Member Rights Centre on 1300 366 378 or reply to this email.
