WHO IS MISSING FROM THIS TASKFORCE?
Staff and the community- those impacted and who know firsthand what happens when a branch is closed have been left out. We wrote to the Chairs of the Taskforce to ask them if the FSU could be involved in the Taskforce and they said no.
Despite this the FSU will write a submission to the Taskforce to make sure our members’ views are on the official record and so the people most affected by these closures and any future closures can have a voice.
We know that a branch closure can be devastating for the worker’s losing their jobs and people in the local community who have lost a service and who must drive for hours to access bank services.
Please fill in this short survey (below) and share your stories as a worker in a regional setting.
