RRR and Gender Pay Equity - Share Your Experiences at Westpac

Contribute to New Strategies on RRR and Gender Pay Equity at Westpac

Last year, as part of negotiations for a new Westpac Group Enterprise Agreement, FSU and Westpac agreed to the establishment of two joint working groups. The working groups will discuss and explore group-wide initiatives that aim to improve and clarify your rights at work in two key areas.

Redundancy, Redeployment and Retrenchment/ Consultation/ Future of Work Working Group

This working group will examine and discuss current processes and strategies in place to support employees as the industry and jobs at Westpac undergo rapid change. Issues for the group include the implementation of the Future of Work Role, and how the current consultation and RRR process is working.

The first meeting for this working group will take place on Wednesday 15 May. Your FSU representatives are Sacha Hammersley (Lomond Customer Care), Robin Mayo (Group Technology), Darcy Brown (BT Bedford Park), and Tracy Piltz (BankSA).

Gender Pay Equity Working Group

This working group will examine and discuss process and programmes in place to ensure fair pay outcomes and greater gender equity.

The first meeting for this working group will take place on Monday 27 May. Your FSU Representatives are Johanna Tran (BankSA Commercial Banking), Susanne Pearce (St George Bank), Penny Stefanou (Kogarah Group Operations), and Christine Otto (Concord Customer Care).
