Today UniSuper announced that from 1 September, they will require us to be in the office at least 60% of the time.

We’ve proven during COVID-19 that we can work flexibly and still deliver great outcomes. Flexible work has allowed us more time with families, helped us manage our health and wellbeing and given us countless hours back in our weeks.
UniSuper wants to be “The best place to work in Super” yet we see our colleagues at funds like AustralianSuper and Cbus able to choose their work location based on the work they are doing.
We know that we have lots of new colleagues at UniSuper, and building strong in-person relationships is important. However, genuine consultation and flexibility is required to ensure that our valuable contribution to UniSuper is acknowledged and respected.
UniSuper haven’t listened – instead, they have made this decision without any consultation with us and are dismissive even when we have asked genuine questions.
Our Union is taking action. We deserve a say in where we work and will make sure UniSuper leadership understands why flexible work matters.
