FSU and the Westpac Group have agreed to leave the current Enterprise Agreement in place until the end 2022. There will be opportunities next year to sit down with the bank and discuss how to best progress discussions for a new EA and we look forward to that happening.
This decision has been supported by your elected FSU members that sit on the FSU WBC Group National Enterprise Council.
What does this mean for my pay in 2022?
FSU agrees that it is important for you and all Westpac Group Workers to have secure pay increases. From 1 January 2022 pay increases will be:
- 3.25% for employees earning under $90,813 (Tier 1)
- 2.25% for employees earning between $90, 814 and $114,065, (Tier 2)
- 2% guaranteed overall spend on fixed pay increases for employees earning between $114,066 and $169,830, as determined later in the year as part of the normal remuneration review.
The above pay increases are subject to meeting the eligibility criteria set out in the Westpac Group Enterprise Agreement 2019.
All eligible staff will also receive the usual lump sum payment of annual leave loading in December 2021 and again in 2022.
All other conditions in your current EA will be maintained. You can view your current EA here on the FSU website.
The changing nature of work continues to be a key focus for FSU members. The FSU and Westpac are committed to ongoing engagement on COVID 19, work from home arrangements and ensuring staff have the skills for jobs of the future.
Vaccination Leave at Westpac
In a win for FSU members, you can access special leave within the Westpac Group to get vaccinated! All staff can apply for one half day of leave for each vaccination totalling one day’s leave.
