A clear call for change
The message from our meeting was clear – we need real change in this round of negotiations. It’s time to address:
- Stagnant wages and a broken pay system, leaving thousands of employees worse off every year. Our pay isn’t keeping up with the cost of living.
- Workloads that cause actual harm, both physical and mental. Colleagues are under pressure just to meet minimum expectations.
- Back office job cuts and branch closures that are impacting thousands of staff. Across the Westpac Group, members are saying enough is enough and calling on the Bank to invest in staff for the future.
