Bendigo Bank: Major changes proposed for Agribusiness Banking – are you impacted?

You may have heard Bendigo Bank has announced proposed changes within the Bank’s Agribusiness division which will impact 156 roles, with 14 full time roles being made redundant.

Impacted staff who are unable to be redeployed to alternate roles within the Bank will also be made redundant.

The Bank has said these proposed changes are due to an adjustment to the operating model to better support customers and simplify the way the Bank operates.

This includes centralising the regionally based Relationship Support Team to the sales support area, and reframing the Rural Customer Management Team to the Agribusiness Direct Team.

What are your concerns?

Consultation for the proposed changes is taking place from now until Monday 28 August, 12pm.

Now is the time for you to make your concerns or questions heard.

We encourage those impacted by these proposed changes to provide your feedback to the Bank before consultation closes.

We know this will be concerning for many of you – please remember, the FSU is here to support you.

If you have any feedback or concerns about these changes, please email [email protected] and our team will be able to assist you.

Your feedback and concerns will also be passed on to the Bank should we write to Bendigo about these changes as part of the consultation.
