RBA’s response to RDO change feedback – FSU meeting

At our meeting with the RBA last week, we provided your feedback to management regarding the proposed changes to the RDO scheme.

Thank you to all FSU members who provided our union with your views, which helped guide our discussions.

Management will respond to our feedback and answer our questions at our next meeting, scheduled for Monday 8 September.

To hear about management’s response, please register for our next in-person report-back meeting. (Once registered, we will provide you with all options to attend.)

When: Wednesday 10 September, 12.30pm (AEST)

Where: 8 Chifley Square, Level 12, Room 12.01

What is the RBA proposing?

  • Remove access to the RDO flexibility scheme for all eligible employees.
  • Compensate those currently on the scheme with a one-off 5% increase to their base salary. This includes employees who were on the RDO scheme immediately prior to going part-time.
  • Expand the scope of eight of the existing 18 days currently available for personal leave each year so they can be used for ‘personal wellbeing needs’.

Remember, while many employees may not currently use the RDO scheme, the majority of employees can access it if they choose.

Removing this flexibility entitlement is a major change, so please attend our important union meeting to hear about management’s response to our feedback.
