MUFG RSS has decided to put another proposed Enterprise Agreement to ballot next Tuesday.

Workplace essentials at MUFG: Your rights, your Agreement, our union
Want to better understand your rights at work? Or perhaps you’d like some…
MUFG RSS has decided to put another proposed Enterprise Agreement to ballot next Tuesday.
You told MUFG that pay was your highest priority. And what has management done? They have ignored you – again!
MUFG is a $276 billion dollar company. How do they choose to repay the contribution you make to that? By refusing to increase their pay offer, as well as offering you redundancy entitlements and paid parental leave that is amongst the worst in the sector.
Voting ‘no’ last time forced MUFG to make improvements they said weren’t possible. We need to send another strong message to MUFG RSS by voting ‘no’ once again!
Join one of our information sessions to hear what’s in the offer (and what’s not) as well as what’s at stake – register for your preferred session below.
Thursday 20 November, 1pm (AEDT)
Friday 21 November, 11am (AEDT)
We also wrote to MUFG RSS CEO Frank Lombardo to give him an opportunity to do the right thing and work with us on a proposal we can support. He has agreed to meet with us on Friday, which is far too late to make any difference to the proposed Agreement.
Importantly, since we voted ‘no’ last time, management has improved their position on breaks and blended work and has removed their disgraceful proposal on working additional hours without extra compensation for some workers.
Voting ‘no’ works to secure improvements, but we’ve still got a ways to go to make this agreement one we can all get behind and be proud of.
So let’s continue to send MUFG RSS a strong message that this agreement still isn’t good enough – vote ‘no’ when the ballot opens next week.
We hope to see you at an info session soon.
And if you’re not yet a member of our union, join today for the support and protection you need.
