How do BOQ Exec pay rises compare to yours?

We will soon have an opportunity to reject BOQ’s insulting pay offer and send a clear message that they need to do better.

Compared to what senior executives are getting, BOQ’s pay offer just doesn’t stack up:

  • While band 1 – 4 employees are being offered an increase of between 0 – 4.75% for 2026, CEO Rod Finch will get a 6.7% pay rise.

  • Since 2021, the CEO total pay will have increased by a whopping 22.1%. Over the past three years, executive pay has increased by an average of 13.4%.

  • Meanwhile, workers’ wages have gone backwards by between -4.45% and -18.7% compared with inflation over the past four years.

All the while, former CEO Patrick Allaway, who left the bank in March, will continue to receive his $1.5 million salary until the end of August.

Workers who stand together and send a united message are much harder to ignore. Get ready to vote no to BOQ’s offer and demand a fair deal.

Stay tuned for more information on how and when to vote.
