Ballot announced for new Bankwest Enterprise Agreement

The ballot for our proposed Bankwest Enterprise Agreement (EA) will open on 17 October at 8am (AWST) and close on 23 October at 5pm (AWST).

Over the next week, Level 1 and Level 2 colleagues will have the opportunity to review the proposal before voting.

The ballot will be run by independent voting company Corpvote, who will provide you with further information before voting begins.

Your FSU Representatives have endorsed the offer and are recommending you vote ‘yes’.

Union members made all the difference

Thanks to FSU members standing together ready to vote ‘no’, this proposed agreement is now far better than management’s original offer. The proposal now includes:

  • Guaranteed 9% wage increase for the majority of colleagues over the life of the agreement, with an industry leading first-year wage increase of 5.25% for those earning up to $100k.
  • An additional $1000 cost of living payment to all.
  • Improved and additional leave entitlements including parental leave, life leave, family planning leave, compassionate leave, gender affirmation and sorry business and sad news leave.
  • Additional support for those experiencing effects of menstruation or menopause
  • Additional notice requirements to any change to in office mandates or changes to remote working arrangements.
  • Preserving many of our hard-fought working conditions at Bankwest – including your RDOs, Annual Leave Loading and the right to decline redeployment to CBA upon redundancy.
