Government report backs our call for AI regulation

The Senate Select Committee on Adopting Artificial Intelligence (AI) has released its much-anticipated report, and it backs many of the changes we’ve been calling for.

The recommendations include a call for the government to introduce dedicated legislation to regulate high-risk uses of AI and to consult with workers and organisations like the FSU to address AI’s impact on workplaces.

This is a major step towards proper AI regulation, but it also makes one thing clear: your voice is essential.

Completing our AI survey ensures your concerns are heard and strengthens our push for fair and transparent AI practices that protect workers’ rights.

The survey closes soon – without your input, we risk missing the chance to shape how AI is adopted in workplaces like yours. Plus, as a thank you, you’ll be entered into a draw to win one of four $50 Mastercard gift cards!
