Has Westpac listened? We find out this week

Last week, we met with Westpac management and provided them with a copy of our open letter to the CEO and Board. Thousands of FSU members have signed our letter calling on Westpac to improve their latest pay offer from early June.

We also provided hundreds of powerful stories from you which overwhelmingly showed Westpac needs to recognise the real cost of living pressures we all face and ensure Westpac workers do not fall behind when compared to the recent increases provided by the other three major banks.

Westpac will respond this week

We are meeting with Westpac management again tomorrow, Wednesday 24 July, to hear their response to our open letter and stories. This is a critical meeting and an opportunity for Westpac to show us they have listened.

We’ll let you know what management’s response is after the meeting so keep an eye out for our emails or upcoming meeting invitations.
