Today, the FSU and Insignia are back in negotiations for our new Enterprise Agreement (EA) where discussions will centre around redundancy payments, guaranteed and discretionary pay and carer’s leave.
Yesterday, hundreds of Insignia colleagues met and discussed how important real redundancy rights are in providing a strong safety net for us. We agreed that management’s initial proposal on redundancy pay is just not good enough.

FSU redundancy proposal
The FSU has tabled a counter position that aims to ensure:
- No one under a heritage arrangement (e.g. those covered under the NAB EA, ANZ EA, AET, etc) is worse off.
- The removal of the grandfathering timeframe.
- Those covered by the Insignia redundancy policy are not left behind by raising the redundancy accrual rate and cap.
- The unique challenges mature age workers face in finding work following redundancy is recognised.
Show your support for our proposal by changing your digital background and encouraging your colleagues to do the same.
