Major changes at MUFG impacting over 200 jobs – FSU meeting

As you know, MUFG has announced significant changes to contact centre operations that will impact 200 to 250 employees.

AustralianSuper has decided to change their contact centre provider. As a result, MUFG’s contact centre roles will begin transitioning to the new provider starting next month, with the full transition expected to conclude by May 2025.

While the Outbound Voice Group will be returning to AustralianSuper, the remaining roles will be moved to the new provider without any opportunity for MUFG staff to transition there.

MUFG has indicated that they will explore redeployment options for some employees, however, redundancy is expected for the majority of the roles.
