Tomorrow, the ballot opens for MUFG’s latest underwhelming offer – and management are already ramping up the pressure. When they push this hard, it usually means one thing – the deal is a dud.
Last time we voted No, we showed the strength of standing together and forced improvements. But even after a second round of bargaining, this offer still doesn’t deliver what you said mattered most.
You were clear: fair pay, real flexibility and respectful redundancy provisions. MUFG didn’t listen the first time, and they still aren’t listening.
Here’s what’s wrong with the deal:
How do I vote no?
By now, you should have received an email from IRBLOTS with details about how to vote. If you haven’t, contact your manager immediately. If you cannot resolve the issue, contact the FSU on 1300 366 378.
You have until Thursday 27 November to cast your vote.
And remember, we need a majority of MUFG employees voting ‘No’ if we want to reject this offer – so please forward this email to your colleagues so they know why this offer is a dud.
We won improvements last time by standing firm. Now we need to do it again. Vote No.
