Time to vote on our Bankwest Enterprise Agreement

It’s time to vote on the proposed Bankwest Enterprise Agreement. You have until Wednesday 23 October, 5pm (AWST) to cast your vote.

FSU members have stood together to achieve significant improvements on management’s original offer. Here’s what we’ve secured:

  • Guaranteed 9% wage increase for the majority of colleagues over the life of the Agreement with an industry leading first year wage increase of 5.25% for those earning up to $100K.
  • An additional $1000 cost of living payment to all.
  • Improved and additional leave entitlements including parental leave, life leave, family planning leave, compassionate leave, gender affirmation and sorry business and sad news leave.
  • Additional support for those experiencing effects of menstruation or menopause
  • Additional notice requirements to any change to in office mandates or changes to remote working arrangements.
  • The preservation of many of our hard-fought for working conditions at Bankwest – including your RDOs, Annual Leave Loading and the right to decline redeployment to CBA upon redundancy.

You can find a summary of the proposed Agreement here.

How do I vote?

By now you should have received an email from CorpVote with instructions on how to cast your confidential vote. If you haven’t received your email, please contact CorpVote immediately on 1300 710 950.

If you have any questions about the proposed EA, please reply to this email.

Together, union members made all the difference!

This great result shows that when we stand together, we win better working conditions for everyone. But there is more to be done, and with stronger union membership we can continue to achieve even more.

If you’re not already an FSU member, now is the best time to join, or ask a colleague to join.

Don’t forget to cast your vote before 5pm (AWST) Wednesday 23 October.
