VIC workers: What do you think about pokies?

Pokies profits have soared in Victoria. The state’s heaviest pokies losses are occurring in working class communities where gambling magnates are saturating these areas with pokies machines designed to be addictive and to make people overestimate their wins.

Victorian Unions are calling for the Government to take meaningful action on gambling reform, including limiting or banning gambling ads which are often seen by kids.

To demonstrate the scale of impact gambling has on our community, they want to hear what you think about gambling and are gathering stories from people whose lives have been impacted by the pokies.
