Our chance to reject MUFG Retirement Solutions’ shocking offer for our new Enterprise Agreement is nearly here.
Voting opens tomorrow, Wednesday 3 September, and will close on Friday 5 September. Make sure you have your say and vote NO.
There are plenty of reasons to reject management’s offer. Here are the top three:
- Flexibility: MUFG refuses to give us the right to work from home in our EA. This means they can make us come into the office as much as they like.
- Pay: One of the lowest pay offers in the sector, and it doesn’t cover the cost-of-living increases we have already absorbed.
- Overtime and credit time: Only levels 1 and 2 get paid overtime (and only if you jump through hoops). Everyone else might get time back, but for people in groups 4, 5 and 6, you could have to work up to 280 hours extra in a month to even make a claim.
We’ve compiled detailed information about all the ways this agreement is bad for workers – including marking up the conditions in the proposed EA and comparing key elements with what workers at other Super funds have won.

How do I vote?
Tomorrow morning, you will receive an email from independent voting company IRBLOTS with your unique voting link. If you don’t, contact your manager immediately.
Remember, your vote will be completely confidential.
What happens if we reject the offer?
If a majority of us vote NO, negotiations will continue. A ‘no’ result sends a strong message: the current proposal doesn’t meet our expectations. It also gives management the opportunity to show it has listened by coming back with an improved offer.
