The Visa Assist program, run by UnionsACT, provides free, confidential legal support for migrant workers who are union members. The legal experts from Visa Assist provide advice on a range of issues, from permanent residency to family reunions.You can read more about Visa Assist here.
The first clinic for 2026 will run on Thursday 22 January in Canberra (hosted at the United Workers Union office in Kingston). This clinic is the best time to seek in-person advice.
