Do you want better pay and conditions at NAB?
NAB employees will soon have a unique opportunity to improve our pay and…
The FSU is appalled by and ready to fight today's announcement by CEO Andrew Irvine that NAB will be slashing 2500 jobs across the bank by mid-2027, including forcing 1500 colleagues out by Christmas this year.
These cuts represent approximately 6% of NAB's workforce and will have devastating consequences for affected workers and those left behind, who face increased job insecurity and unmanageable workloads.
It is disgraceful that thousands of NAB workers learned of these cuts through an email, with little detail about which roles will be affected.
We have demanded an urgent meeting with CEO Andrew Irvine to challenge these cuts, provide your feedback and demand answers.
We're bringing NAB workers together to discuss the cuts, your rights and how we can collectively respond. At these briefings, we'll share what we know, hear your concerns and discuss our next steps.

The stronger our collective response, the greater our ability to challenge these cuts and protect jobs.
We will have more to say on the FSU's response to these cuts in the near future – but in the meantime, please register for your preferred session to ensure you receive the information and support you need, and please encourage your colleagues to attend.
