What does fair parental leave look like to you? Share your thoughts

Paid parental leave has changed thousands of lives across the finance industry – and it's something our union fought hard to win.

The finance sector was one of the first in Australia to negotiate paid parental leave, helping drive broader change across workplaces. While the government's paid parental leave scheme has now expanded to 26 weeks per family, continuing to win strong workplace entitlements remains essential - that's why we want to hear from you.

Whatever your experience with parenting, we want to hear your story and your views. It will help us understand the history of parental leave and build the case for stronger workplace entitlements, from employers and through the public scheme.

You can choose to share your story anonymously or let us know if you'd be happy for our team to contact you about featuring your experience as part of our campaign.

Gender equity isn’t just about women or equal pay. It’s about all types of family units having an equal opportunity to care, build their career and thrive at work.

Share your experience and take an active role in winning better rights at work.
