Progress on IAG’s MyTime – what has IAG said?
Our FSU workplace leaders at IAG recently met with management representatives to present…
The FSU recently called on IAG to suspend in-office mandates due to the war in the Middle East and the worsening fuel crisis.
IAG’s response has been disappointing. During a global fuel crisis, it seems IAG is more concerned with employees working in the office than helping conserve fuel for those who need it most. This contrasts with other employers in the insurance sector – including HBF, who have suspended in-office mandates, and RACQ, who are providing staff with a fuel allowance.
Meanwhile, hundreds of IAG workers have spoken out about the dire impacts this crisis is having on every aspect of their lives.
From our recent survey of IAG employees:
In light of the overwhelming feedback from IAG employees, your FSU Representatives have written to IAG once again to insist that management reconsider their response and immediately suspend all in-office mandates, as well as work with staff who must travel to provide appropriate additional support.
If you haven’t yet completed the survey, please do so now and join your colleagues in sending a unified message that IAG management cannot ignore.
We will keep you updated on IAG’s response when we hear back from them.
