Bendigo Bank Customer Care and Operations job cuts – FSU meeting and support

Bendigo Bank has announced another wave of cuts related to its so-called 'strategic partnership' with Genpact. This time, up to 141.15 FTE jobs are at risk of being cut across the following areas:

  • Mortgage Help and Collections
  • Deceased Estates (now named Specialised Customer Care)
  • Consumer Lending Operations – Consumer Fulfilment and Consumer Lending Assessment.

If you are impacted by these changes, please register for our member meeting to understand your rights and how the FSU can support you through this difficult time.

Remember, those covered by the Enterprise Agreement have rights, and management is required to consult with you on these changes.

If you need individual support or have a question before the session, please reach out to the FSU at [email protected].

This latest round brings the total number of job cuts since Bendigo Bank announced its 2030 strategy to nearly 600. Unfortunately, we know there are more disruptions to come, despite the bank posting a $530 million profit for the 2026 financial year.

We continue to call on the bank to abandon its job-cutting agenda and implement our 10 job security demands.
