Significant IAG restructure – are you impacted?

IAG has announced a significant restructure impacting 518 employees across the company’s Intermediated Insurance Australia Division, with plans to combine the CGU and WFI Departments.

154 of these employees will be redeployed to comparable positions, with a further 159 employees part of an ongoing closed selection process. IAG is also proposing to create 108 non-comparable new positions.

This is a significant change affecting hundreds of employees, and staff are understandably anxious about what this means for them. The FSU is working closely with IAG to understand the full impact on members and to ensure proper processes are followed.
