Bankwest: Have you been offered a CBA contract?

We’ve been informed that some level 3 and level 4 Bankwest colleagues have been offered a conversion from their current Bankwest contracts to arrangements under the CBA Enterprise Agreement 2023.

This offer includes a $1000 cost of living allowance that was provided to CBA staff under this EA in 2023.

It’s crucial to fully understand the differences between your current Bankwest contract and the CBA EA arrangements before making any decisions. Don’t be taken in by what is essentially a $1000 bribe if converting your contract will leave you worse off in the long run.

The CBA EA features two types of employment arrangements, unpackaged and packaged, each with different employment conditions and salary structures. For more information, you can access our CBA EA factsheet here.

If you have received an offer and would like to know more or need help understanding your options, email [email protected] and a member of our team will be in touch.
