222 roles impacted by multiple NAB restructures – Urgent FSU meeting

NAB has announced multiple significant restructures within the Personal Direct Lending, Technology and Operations, and Corporate Finance and Client Coverage departments.

NAB has announced multiple significant restructures within the Personal Direct Lending, Technology and Operations, and Corporate Finance and Client Coverage departments.

These proposed changes will result in 222 roles being made redundant and hundreds of colleagues being displaced and repointed.

The FSU is holding an urgent consultation meeting on Monday 4 September at 12pm (AEST) for anyone impacted by these changes.

Know your rights on consultation

Under the NAB Enterprise Agreement, you have rights during the consultation periods of significant change. Importantly, NAB is required to:

  • Consult with you about the introduction of these proposed changes,
  • Talk with you about the effects the changes are likely to have on you,
  • Consider your feedback and any proposed alterations you have, and
  • Implement measures to avert or mitigate the adverse effects of the changes.

Consultation closes on Wednesday 6 September, so we need to act quickly to ensure you and your colleagues’ questions and concerns are heard. Be sure to forward them this email and ask them to register too.
