AMP slashes our redundancy pay – we need an EA now

AMP has made an outrageous decision to slash our redundancy pay from 104 weeks to 52 weeks, half of what we are currently entitled to. The only way to fix this is with a new Enterprise Agreement.

Our minimum notice period for redundancy will also reduce from eight to six weeks.

AMP is reducing our essential entitlements that will impact everyone who is ever retrenched, yet AMP has done this without any consultation with us.

We need a new Enterprise Agreement (EA) now

Without an EA, AMP could cut our redundancy pay even further should they choose to.

Without an EA that is enforceable to protect conditions like our redundancy entitlements, we have zero say.

Right now, we have no protection and are exposed to the whims of management who can change policy at any time, as this situation clearly demonstrates.

AMP has already said no to negotiating a new EA with us. It’s time to change their minds. Will you join us in fighting for a fair EA for everyone at AMP?
