A win for Bankwest colleagues – but there’s more to do

Thanks to the collective efforts of FSU members, Bankwest management has taken an important step in recognising the value Level 3 and 4 colleagues bring to the bank.

As of December, we have access to many of the entitlements secured in the new Bankwest Enterprise Agreement, including expanded parental leave, life leave, pet leave, and increased compassionate and community service leave.

While these improvements are a meaningful step forward, key benefits – such as the $1,000 cost of living allowance – remain out of reach for Level 3 and 4 colleagues.

We’ve seen what collective action can achieve – if others have these benefits, so should Level 3 and 4 colleagues.

Sign our open letter to Managing Director Jason Chan today to ensure all employees are treated fairly and receive the same support as their colleagues across Bankwest and CBA.
