BankVic’s offer going to ballot soon – Here’s what we’ve secured

BankVic has said they will put their offer for our new Enterprise Agreement out to ballot soon, subject to some final drafting.

Over the past few months we’ve secured some promising improvements and preserved our hard-fought entitlements – and it’s all thanks to FSU members standing together and demanding a fair agreement. Together we’ve negotiated:

  • An 11.5% pay increase over three years for tier 1 colleagues
  • A 9.5% pay increase over three years for tier 2 colleagues
  • Guaranteed pay increases for 75% of staff (a first at BankVic)
  • Lifestyle leave for tier 2 and 3 colleagues
  • Improved family and domestic violence leave
  • Improved parental leave.

And importantly, we’ve protected our RDOs for those currently receiving them after management attempted to strip them away.

None of these things would have been possible without all of us taking the actions we did. Congratulations on reaching this crucial step in the process!

If you’re not yet a member of the FSU, now is the perfect time to join! Please also send this article to your colleagues and speak to them about joining the team that’s winning better wages and conditions at BankVic.

Keep an eye on your emails for more important updates as we head into the ballot.
