BankVic’s latest proposal for our new Enterprise Agreement (EA) will soon be put to a ballot of all eligible employees.
You will have from Tuesday 10 December – Thursday 12 December to cast your vote.
We are encouraging all eligible BankVic employees to vote ‘yes’ to this proposed agreement.
The access period for the proposal is now open and this is your best opportunity to review the EA proposal in detail.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss the proposed agreement, your FSU Organiser Kris Recke will be in the Pickering Room (level 8, 505 Little Collins Street) from 11.30am – 2.30pm on Tuesday 3 December (today), Tuesday 10 December and Wednesday 11 December.
What’s in the proposed agreement?
Together, FSU members have secured:
- 11.5% pay increase over three years for tier 1 colleagues
- 9.5% pay increase over three years for tier 2 colleagues
- Guaranteed pay increases for 75% of staff (a first at BankVic)
- Preservation of RDOs for those who receive them
- Improved parental leave – 14 weeks for primary carers, four weeks for secondary carers
- Additional 10 days of leave to be used to transition back to work
- 15 days paid domestic violence leave and five paid days for those supporting a family/household member experiencing domestic violence
- Five additional days of flexi leave for tier 2 and 3 staff
- Five days of lifestyle leave for tier 1 staff who do not take RDOs
- And more…
The aim of every agreement is to improve on the last. While there will always be room for improvement, FSU members have achieved substantial progress in this round of negotiations.
