Last week, IAG was found to have committed wage theft for ripping off workers to the tune of a whopping $21 million.
This means thousands of us have been underpaid by IAG for years. They even tried to find loopholes to justify not paying staff what we are owed and dodged their legal obligations.
The FSU provided information to the Fair Work Ombudsman which assisted in their investigations and ultimately exposed IAG’s enormous wage theft.
This level of wage theft demonstrates the blatant disrespect of IAG toward hardworking staff like you.
And it makes one thing abundantly clear – we can’t trust IAG to do the right thing.
Even the government agrees.

That’s why this year’s enterprise bargaining process is critical. We’ll need to make our new Enterprise Agreement (EA) airtight so IAG can’t find excuses not to pay us correctly.
We know that coming together and campaigning for a new EA will give us the best chance of securing work conditions that protect us and prevent this from ever happening again.
