Our guaranteed 4% pay rise, which was negotiated by union members, was supposed to kick in on the first pay period after 1 July 2025.
However, Brighter Super hasn’t paid it yet. Instead, they’re delaying it until 26 August with back pay to July.
Any delay is less money in our pocket when we need it most. We cannot allow Brighter Super to set a dangerous precedent for future pay rises. That’s why we’re in dispute with Brighter Super.
On a scale of 1 – 5, how concerned are you by the delay in your pay rise (with 5 being ‘most concerned’)?
Brighter Super shouldn’t be withholding our guaranteed pay increases. We negotiated a 4% pay rise for all eligible employees* from the first pay period after 1 July, and that’s what we expect.
Please forward this email to your colleagues and ask them to share how their pay delay will affect them.
*If employed prior to January of the year and not on a performance improvement plan (PIP).
