Bupa: We’ve met with management about your pay and conditions

We’ve now had two bargaining meetings with BUPA management for a new Enterprise Agreement (EA).

The first meeting mainly centred around bargaining formalities. At our second meeting last Friday, our FSU representatives presented our FSU Log of Claims – this outlines the pay and conditions we want to see in our new Agreement and our goals for the negotiations. Our FSU claim was based on the very useful feedback provided by members over the last few weeks. It includes:

  • Industry leading pay and conditions.
  • Progressive leave entitlements for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, gender diverse employees and other diverse groups, and reproductive health care leave.
  • Work from home arrangements to be established within the Enterprise Agreement.

See the full FSU Log of Claims here.

BUPA management representatives committed to providing their own position for the 2024 Agreement at the next bargaining meeting scheduled for 17 November. Look out for information and FSU updates following that meeting.

In the meantime, if you have not provided your feedback through our FSU bargaining survey, there’s still time. Let us know what’s important to you.
