Our rights during consultation

We understand this news of redundancies and restructures is difficult to hear. The FSU will do everything possible to ensure affected members are protected, properly consulted, and receive all their entitlements.

Our Insignia Enterprise Agreement provides important rights during periods of significant workplace change. Management is required to:

• consult with us about the introduction of the proposed changes
• discuss the likely impact of the changes
• consider our feedback, including any alternatives or suggestions we put forward
• implement measures to avert or reduce the adverse effects of the changes.

Consultation closes on Tuesday 21 July, so it is important that impacted employees act quickly to ensure questions, concerns and alternatives are properly raised.
