CBA slashes jobs again despite record profits

CBA has yet again announced it will make another 221 roles redundant, resulting in 88 job losses (mostly in New South Wales). The remaining roles will be redeployed.

The roles impacted are in Technology Business which include areas of risk, fraud, cyber security and data protection – critical roles that protect our job security and the safety of our customers.

Are you impacted by these job cuts?

Chat in person with Charlotte Campbell, your FSU organiser, this Thursday August 24 at the Foundry Building. Charlotte will be in room 1.62 from 11-3pm AEST, to answer our questions and talk about next steps.

We are also holding an online meeting for all members next Wednesday at 12pm AEST. Register today:

Out of touch and uncaring

These job cuts come only days after CBA announced record annual profits of $10.2 billion.

Profits that are thanks to the hard work of staff… But this is the reward we get.

It just shows how tone deaf, out of touch and uncaring CBA are in their unquenchable thirst for profits. Once again, the staff who remain will have to do more with less.

Our FSU is here to help and support you during this difficult time.

Please reach out to us by contacting Charlotte Campbell at Charlotte.Campbell@fsunion.org.au, or on 0434 321 785.
