We’ve delivered your comments to Matt Comyn
Today, we hand-delivered over a thousand comments from CBA workers to the bank’s…
We have now received an updated pay offer from CBA. It comes after more than 3000 CBA and Bankwest workers signed our petition calling on CEO Matt Comyn to improve his dismal pay offer, with more than 1700 of you sharing your frustrations and, in many cases, harrowing stories of financial hardship.
FSU National Secretary Julia Angrisano hand-delivered your messages to CBA’s Sydney HQ – and we received significant national media coverage reporting your stories and the case for a better deal (see news.com.au and Nine News).
The FSU Bargaining Team's view is clear: CBA's new pay offer is not good enough. After posting a record $11 billion profit, CBA can afford to do better - and FSU members deserve better.
Now we want to hear from you. Before we formally respond to CBA, tell us what you think about the new offer.
Please register and attend one of the below online sessions, where we will outline the offer in full and discuss next steps. These meetings are only for FSU members.
To ensure you have a say in how we respond to CBA’s latest pay offer, make sure you’re a member of our union by joining today.
CBA’s Annual General Meeting is only weeks away – taking place on Wednesday 14 October at the Hyatt Regency Sydney. The AGM is a unique opportunity to get our message about fair pay and conditions directly in front of Matt Comyn, the Board and CBA shareholders.
If you are Sydney based and can help with distributing flyers in the morning before work, or you’d like to attend the AGM as part of our FSU delegation, please respond to this email as soon as possible and we’ll be in touch.
If you are unable to attend but still want to help, we’ll have more to say soon about how you can send your questions to the board.
