Don’t turn us into CommBankWest… again!

You may have seen that the Commonwealth Bank will no longer employ new Bankwest staff under the separate Bankwest Group Services employing entity.

We have also been notified that CBA plans to combine our next Bankwest Enterprise Agreement (EA) with the new CBA EA.

Your Bankwest FSU Representatives are opposed to this. They have a strong preference that our Bankwest EA remain separate to ensure Bankwest employees maintain our own terms and conditions, preserve those conditions that are more beneficial, and preserve Western Australia jobs.

Therefore, we intend to fight this move from CBA.

We need to send management a strong message that we don’t want a combined EA. Add your voice to our petition now.

Sign petition to CEO Matt Comyn

Currently, there are less than 1400 Level 1 and Level 2 employees covered by the Bankwest EA. We need every single Level 1 and Level 2 Bankwest employee to sign this petition so it can be used as evidence in any Fair Work Commission proceedings.

We can only win this with a strong majority, so please forward the petition to your colleagues and encourage them to sign

When signing the petition, please also leave a comment about why you feel it’s important to keep our Bankwest EA separate. Your comment may be used during negotiations for our new EA but will remain anonymous.

If you’re not yet a member of our union, now is the time to join to ensure we stand the best chance of getting the Agreement we all deserve.
