We’re excited to announce that the Honourable Tanya Plibersek MP, Federal Minister for Social Services, will join us as a special guest speaker next Monday, as we launch our new report, The Leave Revolution: The Case for Universal Paid Parental Leave. Ms Plibersek has been a lifelong champion of better paid parental leave, and we're excited to hear from her.

Join us to explore how universal PPL is already working in the finance sector, and what it will take to make it the standard everywhere.

We will also be joined by Tegan Gilchrist from The Parenthood and Kristian Fok, CEO of Cbus – both organisations that have exciting stories to tell when it comes to PPL and how it is evolving for today’s workforce.

Tanya Plibersek MP
Tanya Plibersek is the Minister for Social Services and the Federal Member for Sydney, a seat she has held since 1998. She has also served as Deputy Leader of the Labor Party and Minister for the Environment and Water and has long been a champion of paid parental leave.

Kristian Fok
Kristian Fok is the CEO of Cbus Super, a role he has held since June 2023 after a decade as the fund's Chief Investment Officer. Cbus has offered universal PPL since 2021 and now sees more men taking PPL than women.

Tegan Gilchrist
Tegan Gilchrist is Senior Director, Strategy, Campaigns & Community at The Parenthood, the national advocacy organisation for parents and families. She campaigns on the issues that shape family life, including childcare access, affordability and quality.
