In a significant development regarding NAB’s proposed increase to mandatory office attendance, NAB’s CEO Andrew Irvine has agreed to meet with our union within the next four weeks so we can present members’ feedback and our open letter.
Importantly, NAB has agreed to hold off making any final decisions regarding its proposal until this meeting has occurred.
Mr Irvine’ s commitment comes after FSU officials met with senior NAB representatives on Friday. At this meeting, NAB confirmed they’ve received a significant volume of feedback, and that our feedback reflects what they are hearing across the organisation.
Disappointingly, NAB advised that, at this stage, they are continuing with the consultation process rather than withdrawing their proposal.
