You’ve probably heard about Bank of Queensland’s recent announcement to cut 200 local jobs, including 165 in the contact centre. The bank is attempting to justify these cuts by saying ‘simple’ work will be offshored overseas.
The strategy is purely about boosting profits. It’s a slap in the face, and we don’t have to accept it.
CEO Patrick Allaway needs to hear from us about why this decision is wrong.
Stephanie, can you spare a few minutes to sign our open letter and share how Mr Allaway’s job cuts and offshoring will impact you?
