Major AMP restructure – this is why we need an Enterprise Agreement

AMP has announced a major restructure in its Bank Lending Division which will impact 83 people. Despite this, AMP is providing only four days of consultation.

The FSU is here to support you. If you’re impacted by this change, contact our Member Rights Centre today on 1300 366 378 or email [email protected] for advice, support and representation.

We need a new Enterprise Agreement (EA) at AMP now

When change like this happens at AMP, we want to make sure we have decent, fair entitlements that we’ve had a say in. This means we need an EA that protects our pay and conditions at work.

Without an EA that is enforceable, when change like this occurs at AMP we will only be entitled to the legal bare minimum with no say in our entitlements.

For example, someone on the previous AMP EA who has worked for AMP for 20 years would receive 70 weeks’ pay if they were retrenched. If AMP decides to change the policy and reduce current redundancy entitlements the legal bare minimum that AMP would have to pay you would be 12 weeks’ pay.

It’s not good enough.

As you know, AMP have refused to negotiate with us for a new EA. Click here now to join us in fighting for a fair Enterprise Agreement for everyone at AMP.
