NAB Associate changes – FSU consultation and feedback sessions

NAB has announced it is proposing to expand the Business Banking Associate pilot model nationwide by combining the duties of the Relationship Associate and CLS Associate (New and Increase) roles, together with the respective Lead and Senior Associate roles.

This is a significant proposed change for Associates and Leaders and has triggered our consultation rights under the NAB Enterprise Agreement. The FSU is holding important consultation sessions for affected employees to hear your feedback and help you understand your rights, identify what support or options you need from NAB, and discuss next steps.

Members have already raised the importance of having choice and control over what happens to their career, role and future at NAB.

We have raised these concerns directly with NAB and will continue to press for affected employees to have meaningful options over any decisions that impact them.

The FSU is also undertaking an assessment of the comparability of any proposed new roles, including whether the duties, responsibilities, classification, location, hours, and remuneration are genuinely comparable.

Our rights during consultation

We understand that this is a stressful time, but you do not have to navigate it alone.

Under the NAB Enterprise Agreement, NAB must consult with affected employees, listen to feedback, consider alternatives and take steps to reduce negative impacts.

Consultation closes soon, so please register for a session above and encourage your colleagues to have their say.

If you have any questions or feedback ahead of the above sessions, please reply to this email.
