NAB restructures – register for FSU consultation sessions

NAB has announced a series of significant restructures across the Business and Private Bank (BNP) and Corporate and Institutional (CIB) divisions.

These changes are occurring within the Commercial Excellence, Specialised Business and Business Care teams, as well as the Financial Crime Operations, Specialised Lending Operations and Market Operations teams.

Our union is holding important consultation sessions for affected employees to help you understand your rights, share what support or options you need from NAB, and discuss next steps.

Our rights during consultation

We understand this is an incredibly stressful time for affected members.

Our NAB Enterprise Agreement gives us rights during periods of significant change. Management is required to:

  • consult with you about the introduction of these proposed changes.
  • speak with you about the effects the changes are likely to have on you.
  • consider your feedback and any proposed alterations you have.
  • implement measures to avert or mitigate the adverse effects of the changes.

Consultation on these proposed changes closes soon, so be sure to have your say by registering for one of the above sessions. Remember, if we want real change to happen at NAB, we have to make our voices heard. Please encourage your colleagues to get involved by sharing this email with them.

If you have any questions or feedback ahead of the above sessions, please send them through by replying to this email.

And if you’re not yet a member of our union, now is the time to join to ensure you have the support you need during this difficult time.
