Overtime at Westpac – do you start before you start?

Do you log on five minutes early each day so you can hit the ground running when your official hours kick in?

We know Westpac Contact Centre staff are doing unpaid work before their start time. What may only be five to 10 minutes each day quickly adds up to hours of unpaid time each year.

It should not be the case. In fact, FSU members at other workplaces have had great success with pushing back on these unreasonable requests, with some even securing payment for their unpaid overtime.

Now Westpac employees are looking to achieve the same!

Please complete our short survey and let us know if you’re working outside your paid hours.

Your information will not be shared with Westpac. If you've already completed the survey, please forward this email to your colleagues and encourage them to complete it too.
