Proposed redundancies at IAG: What does this mean for you?

You may have already heard that IAG are proposing significant changes to selected divisions, with 54 roles proposed to be made redundant:

  • Finance: 35 roles
  • Group People, Performance and Reputation: 9 roles
  • Risk: 7 roles
  • Technology and Operations: 3 roles

IAG this week announced the changes were to repoint selected group functions into their insurance business and to consolidate activity in the corporate centre.

Additionally, IAG have said they are removing activities that are not fully aligned with their core priorities in order to be more “disciplined in the delivery of our strategy”.

What does this change mean for you?

We know that this news will be distressing for many of you. The FSU is hosting a session on Monday 24 July at 7.30pm to go through the proposed changes and discuss the impact this may have on you and on the business.

If yours is one of the roles impacted by these proposed changes, please make sure you register to join our session below so you can have a say and provide input at this critical juncture.

The meeting is now passed

We hope to see you there.
