Rumours of major changes at AMP. We’re at risk without an EA

You may have seen media reports over recent days about the possibility of AMP undergoing some transformational changes, with rumours of a company break-up or a major acquisition.

If the reports are true, there could be major implications for employees, with many of our rights and entitlements at risk.

We’re writing to AMP CEO Alexis George to tell her that she needs to give us all some answers.

Let us know what questions you have for Alexis

What’s at risk for AMP employees?

We don’t have an Enterprise Agreement (EA) at AMP. An EA provides a set of terms and conditions that are locked in, covers us all, and can’t be changed on a whim.

Does Alexis George have a secret plan to sell the bank?

Is $3 billion her reserve price?

This is yet another reason why we urgently need an EA at AMP. We’re some of the only workers in a large Australian finance company without this certainty.

Find out more here, and let us know if you want to be protected by an enterprise agreement.
