Support following incident at 700 Bourke St

Our union is deeply saddened by the fatal incident that occurred at 700 Bourke Street in Melbourne last Thursday.

Our thoughts and heartfelt sympathies are with the individual’s family, friends and colleagues during this very difficult time.

Support and assistance

NAB and the FSU have remained in regular contact since the incident. NAB has advised that additional support is available for any employees who may be affected, including access to the Employee Assistance Program (EAP). We encourage employees to contact the EAP on 1300 574 750 if they would like to speak confidentially with a counsellor or access further support.

We are also engaging with NAB regarding the investigations currently being undertaken by the relevant authorities and regulators. The FSU will meet with NAB to discuss any findings and recommendations once these processes have progressed.

Please take care of yourselves and your colleagues during this difficult time, and do not hesitate to reach out for support if you need it.
