Reminder: Information about our new CBA Agreement
A reminder that our union is hosting important information sessions next week for…
CBA has just announced 300 job cuts, weeks after posting a record half-year profit of $5.4 billion.
Those impacted have been notified by management, with cuts occurring across the board and most coming from technology and engineering teams. In other words, no one is safe.
Is it any wonder, then, that more than half of us considered leaving CBA in the past 12 months? Without job security and genuine protections, we’ll continue to see more reckless job cuts.
That’s why FSU members launched our official campaign today ahead of negotiations commencing for our new Enterprise Agreement (EA).
We’re demanding ‘a better way at CBA’ through improved job security, pay, work flexibility and more.
We’re launching our campaign across various CBA workplaces over the coming days. If you see FSU staff around your workplace, come say hi!
Just this week, we have seen a step in the right direction when it comes to job security and future-proofing our skills, with CBA’s announcement of a Future Workforce Program.
This change in approach by CBA has only happened because the FSU, through our Joint Consultative Committee, called on the bank to do more to improve redundancy support, including training and reskilling for displaced staff.
