Reminder: Information about our new CBA Agreement
A reminder that our union is hosting important information sessions next week for…
Good news regarding the merger of Australian Mutual Bank (AMB) and Teachers Mutual Bank (TMB)!
Following further discussions to ensure members’ working conditions are retained in the merger, our union and TMB have signed a Memorandum of Understanding. This secures the current working conditions predominantly for Level 6 and 7 employees.
You can view the signed MOU here.
Management has also agreed to other conditions members raised with the FSU, and these will be captured in an undertaking between the two parties, which will be submitted as part of the Fair Work Commission submission.
Items to be included in this undertaking include:
Picnic day and journey insurance will not be included in the transition.
The FSU supports members having access to RDOs and hour-long lunch breaks via their enterprise agreements.
However, if you are after shorter lunch breaks or want to discuss your RDOs, please contact your line manager in the first instance, as some accommodations have already been made for those who have asked for it. If you need further assistance, please contact the FSU.
Thank you to all FSU members who participated in this process. Together, we’ve secured a great outcome that protects our hard-fought working conditions.
If you’re not a member, now is the time to join to ensure you get the support you need. We will be negotiating our new Enterprise Agreement early next year, and it’s critical all employees are part of this.
